Vargan is entirely made of stainless steel, a magnetic ball is inserted into the tab of the reed, which reduces the tone of the harp due to the weighting of the reed. Thus, in one harp you get two vargans that differ significantly in sound: with a ball (low sound) and without a ball (high sound).
To ensure that the ball is not lost, there is a special storage space for it - a metal ring inserted into the leather case, complete with a harp.
