Origin country: Republic of Khakassia, Russia
Reed length: 105 ìì
Rigidity: soft
Material: steel (blued)
Set: mouth harp (without case)
Description: wrought mouth harp with very low shamanistic sound and long attenuation. The frame is rather rigid that allows to hold mouth harp easily, and optimal gap width lets one not to care about accuracy of the beat too much. The reed is soft and massive so that the frame generates tangible pleasant vibrations on teeth. The timbre is replete with low and average overtones, rumbling and gnarling. This mouth harps suits more for slow and average speed of playing. The reed in the equilibrium position protrudes beyond the plane of the body, which allows the reed to swing and support its vibrations with the help of breaths. The sound is symmetric for beats in both directions.
